The history of Concordia Preparatory School is longer than one may expect. Concordia is not a new school, but the name is, as is its location in the South Valley area in Riverton, UT.

The last few years have had many exciting changes for our school.  In July 2011, Salt Lake Lutheran High School officially changed its name to Concordia Preparatory School. In December of that year, the school relocated to its current campus in Riverton, Utah. Digital curriculum was implemented in all social science courses with language arts courses being added to begin the 2012-13 school year. 2012 also saw the addition of the iMac computer lab. Many new changes are also on the horizon for Concordia. 2013-14 looks to add 7th – 8th grades to our school family as well as the complete conversion of the curriculum to digital textbooks.

But that’s just the recent history. The foundation of the school was laid almost almost 30 years ago…
